The name Ebbenflow is a play on the phrase “Ebb and Flow” and my name, Ben.
The left shape of the logo represents a bowl. Picture still water inside the bowl. To me, this represents the perception that everything is still. You know when time stops and you are fully immersed in the moment? You feel a stillness. That everything is one, forever. The bowl is purposefully placed under the letters “EBB”.
The right shape of the logo represents waves. These waves are flowing. Think about the waves in the ocean. To me, this represents flow state, which is another perspective of being fully immersed in the moment. It’s like reading a really good book or dancing. Moments like these are when thoughts are not at the forefront of your mind, but you and the activity you’re engaged with are one. The waves are purposefully placed under the letters “FLOW” with a straight line connecting the bowl and the waves. Together the logo makes EBBENFLOW.
